VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY 1
The Infrastructure team is seeking volunteers to join them Saturday, May 30 9:45 am - Noon to help assess the neighborhood common spaces.

The purpose of this activity is to document defects and deficiencies in the common areas of our neighborhood to submit for repair.
We will meet in the Horizon Club ballroom promptly at 9:45 am for instructions. Each person will be assigned to a team who will be provided with all of the forms for documentation. Each team will then deploy to their assigned area to assess from 10 am - Noon.
Each team will conduct assessments of the common areas in their assigned location and identify and document defects and deficiencies such as:
Curb and sidewalk defects
Condition of structures and furniture, and sidewalks on pocket parks
Any visible issues with Ponds (DO NOT GO DOWN THE BANKS)
Proper electrical connections and outlet covers for Pond fountain timers and irrigation timers.
We will provide all the instructions and forms for documentation. Each team will then deploy to their assigned area to assess from 10 am - Noon.
NOTE: For safety reasons, no one will climb into any common area or any ladders where risk of falling or encounters with wildlife is too high. Also, no one should walk down the slope of any pond. Use cameras and stay on flat surfaces for documenting any problem areas.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY 2
The Infrastructure team is also seeking volunteers with specific expertise in construction, engineering, electrical, plumbing, lighting, pools, HVAC, audio systems, and IT to assist in facility assessment.
Document defects in external areas of buildings, pools, Hot Tub, decks, fire pit structures (testing operation)
Document any defect in internal structures - poolhouse, restrooms, offices
Document visible defects in internal structures (Horizon club, gatehouse, gate systems (main and back gate))
Review “as-built” engineering documentation
Review specific areas of the Reserve Study related to the amenities.
